Then it was off to Nauvoo. Madison turned 12 this July and wanted to do baptisms for the dead for her birthday. So we went Tuesday night. Deanna, Wes, and I also got to be baptized. They were very friendly at the temple and told us all kinds of stories. They invited us to go see the sword of Joseph Smiths from the battalion. Then we went to the Pageant. The kids really enjoyed all the activities that they had before the pageant. They could do all the pioneer things. Then Wednesday we visited the home of Joseph and Emma, the visitors center ( where there were lots of statues done by Dennis Smith. Alan Smiths brother.)Then we went to the Cartridge Jail. It was very spiritual there and I am so glad that we were able to go. What a spiritual week we had.

WOW. I'm so JEALOUS! Did you know it's my dream to go to the Nauvoo temple? I love all the activities and places to visit in Nauvoo. Carthage Jail is awesome... doesn't it give you a feel for what it must have been like. Scary and sad. You're a GREAT grandma! :) Keep up the good work, and THANK YOU for the notebook, holy cow! You're awesome, I totally wasn't expecting that!!
I agree you are a good grandma, where do you get the energy? Everyone looks so good. Memories Forever!
